Join SCMTA
Salt Creek Music Teachers Association is affiliated with the Illinois State Music Teachers Association (ISMTA) and the nation’s oldest professional music organization, Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
Teachers who wish to join Salt Creek first become members the national association MTNA. Members of MTNA receive a subscription to the award-winning magazine, “American Music Teacher,” and opportunities for insurance programs, professional publications, and conferences.
It is not necessary to have a music degree or be affiliated with a music school. You need only an interest about the welfare of music and music education in our society. There are discounted memberships available to full time college students and seniors.
